Microsoft revealed the hard drive availability figures for its forthcoming Windows RT Surface tablet and the numbers are not pretty. On 32GB device, users will have only 16GB of useable space after installing the OS and allocating space for recovery tools. On a 64GB device users lose a slightly bigger piece of the pie, ultimately ending up with only 46GB of available storage after all is said and done. One saving grace for the storage hungry device is that it offers a microSD expansion slot that supports up to 64GB in removable storage. Beyond that Microsoft is advocating liberal use of its SkyDrive cloud locker. [Source Microsoft]
