Tor is a service used around the world to anonymize browsing, especially in countries where Internet usage is closely monitored, such as China. Recently, the Chinese government learned how to monitor and block Tor usage, causing concern among privacy and human rights advocates. Now, researchers in Sweden have learned how the Chinese government has done this, and will presumably use this information to stop the Chinese government from blocking access. Of course, this is a battle against Goliath on steroids, so there’s no real winning.
