T-Mobile chief executive John Legere confirmed that the mobile carrier would be offering the iPhone to customers next year, but the company will also be doing away with phone subsidies, meaning customers will have to pay full price for a new handset. They can either buy the phone on installment or bring in their own unlocked phone. The tradeoff is that unsubsidized value plans offer cheaper rates on voice and some data.
