Many of the companies we write about are focused on disrupting, reinventing, or revolutionizing one industry or another, but we rarely ask ourselves if that particular area is in need of disruption. Marco Arment has written about the pains of attempting to deposit a check with Chase’s photo-deposit feature, and (spoiler alert) he concludes that it just isn’t worth it.
