It is time to get rid of iTunes and replace it with something — anything — else, according to Jason Snell at MacWorld. It would be incredibly hard to find someone that hasn’t had a problem with iTunes, and that is something that Apple needs to take care of quickly. Snell points out the major pain points, but he misses one that I find to be incredibly annoying. In spite of the fact that I have a fairly recent MacBook Air, it still takes way too long to load iTunes. Apple either has a grand strategy for this year, or a major blind spot.
