He was the founder of reCAPTCHA, which he sold to Google, and now he’s the founder and CEO of Duolingo, a free language-learning app that uses Big Data to adapt to it users’ needs. He’s also a Guatemalan immigrant and a computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon. Whatever way you cut it, Luis von Ahn is a fascinating guy.
