With today being Data Privacy Day, Twitter is showing that it takes its role as a content delivery leader seriously with the launch of transparency.twitter.com. The new site will host stats and other information about copyright inquiries from government officials and content companies. The company published some current stats, which reveal that it has had 6,646 total takedown requests since January 2012.
