The Oatmeal, a consistent source of bear-filled humor, was recently slapped by a letter from FunnyJunk requesting $20,000 to avoid a defamation lawsuit. Matthew Inman, creator of The Oatmeal, decided that it would be more appropriate to raise that $20,000 and give it to charity. The campaign is resting at $100,000 raised right now, with 15 days left to go.
