The Next Web reports that teachers are starting to allow Wikipedia into the class room a bit more freely; while 73% of teachers prohibit using the service as a formal citation, that’s a large 13% decrease from 2005. Not that prohibiting the social encyclopedia really has any effect; if my classmates and I were any indication, using Wikipedia and then faking through the bibliography (using the same references as the people that edit Wikipedia) works wonders. Not that you should do that, kids.
