After initially being stymied by government authorities, smartphone maker Xiaomi – China’s homegrown answer to Apple – is closer to bringing its set-top box for TV to market. The startup, valued at $4 billion after just two years of existence, has signed a three-year strategic partnership with the iCNTV network.
