With TikTok’s future in peril, I don’t want to talk about doom and gloom. That’s not a helpful approach, and it doesn’t give content creators the insights they need to successfully manage their audience and channel while their platform is in crisis.
In November of 2017, Bytedance acquired Musical.ly for $1 billion. In August of 2018, Bytedance officially rebranded Musical.ly and TikTok into one app.
