Wait a Minute. Part of Starting a Company Is Dealing with Reporters?

From The News Desk

I've been a regular guest on NBC's Press:Here since the first episode with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. If you've never seen the show, it's like Meet the Press for entrepreneurs. Several reporters gang up on some poor CEO, and typically I ask the most obnoxious questions.

I hadn't done the show for a while, given the whole giving birth, doing a conference in China and quitting my job stuff of the last few months, so I agreed to come on this week. But given that I launched a company in the interim, host Scott McGrew decided that I would move from the reporter seat to the poor-CEO-reporters-gang-up-on seat. I guess I had that one coming.

In this segment below, Scott and Kym McNicholas of Forbes grill me about conflicts and whether the world needs another tech blog. They tried-- admirably-- to get me to say something bad about TechCrunch. I tried as usual to take the high-road and mostly succeeded.

In all seriousness, thanks to the Press:Here team for deeming our tiny startup important enough to feature.

(We got off the topic of conflicts before I gave the whole spiel. For more on that, see our about page or this post.)
