Nathaniel Mott Joins Team Pando. (Trevor Gilbert Still the Youngest Staffer by a Week)

I frequently say to people, if I could find ten more "Trevors" I'd hire them all. The prolific, unafraid, and hungry-to-learn 19-year-old was the only person with me on launch day. So far, he already has done more than 1,000 PandoTicker items, has managed to enrage all of Ireland, and has worked diligently to get better week-after-week. Just last week, he was hounding me to mail him more books about the history of Silicon Valley, so he could learn what happened out here before he was born. I love that.

Well, lo and behold I found another one. Last week, I got a cold email from Nathaniel Mott, another 19-year-old hungry to write about tech. Nathaniel lives in tiny Ovid, New York, which I've never heard of. It sounds freezing. He was previously a freelancer writing for the AppStorm Network of sites. He's about a week older than Trevor and has been a professional writer for a whopping two months.

And because of all those reasons, I think he'll be a fantastic addition to the team. The startup ecosystem is all about melding fresh new talents with veterans and our team is no different.

Nathaniel will be helping Trevor with the PandoTicker, which is doing volume of 50-60 posts a day these days. You can submit news to both of them at tips at pandodaily dot com.

Welcome Nathaniel! You can read his first, official PandoDaily story here, and follow him on Twitter here.
