What's better than a really funny YouTube video? Pretty much nothing. (That's a screenshot of "David After Dentist" to the left, one of the funniest there is.) But have you ever wondered what goes into making a video go viral?

Well, we wanted to know, so we interviewed five of the best producers of viral videos from the past two years. We spoke to producer of Dollar Shave Club Mike Dubin, lead vocalist from Pomplamoose Nataly Knutsen, the masterminds behind “Ed Lee 2 Legit to Quit” Zach Blume and Nate Houghteling,  creators of “Auto-Tune the News” the Gregory Brothers (you know you love that “Bed Intruders” song), and Josh Kopelman from First Round Capital.
