All is not lost in social media when there's a Lego DeLorean in the works
There was a lot of angst in social media in 2012. Dalton Caldwell staged a revolt over Twitter and Facebook's treatment of developers. Instagram and Twitter had a throw down over where your 1970s-styled pictures can be seen. Vows to quit everything happened due to overreaching terms of service rage. And throughout the blogosphere early adopters still hand wave about whatever happened to "our Web 2.0."
In the spirit of the holidays, can we all just agree that as long as the Web community can dictate that Lego make a "Back to the Future" DeLorean, all has not been lost when it comes to our UGC rights?
The best part is a portion of the proceeds go to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's foundation, a cause very close to my heart.
