What if the White House actually embraced emoji?

On Tuesday in Pittsburgh, Barack Obama let slip that the President of the United States knows about emoji.

"Malia, to her credit, wrote a letter to me for Father's Day, which was obviously much more important to me than if she had texted an emoji, or whatever those things are," Obama said, referring to his daughter.

What if the White House starts using the tiny icons to spice up its Twitter feed… and throws in a refreshing dash of straightforward honesty too?
