Join us next week for New York Pandomonthly with SoulCycle founders Elizabeth Cutler and Julie Rice
Truth: I sometimes don't do a lot of prep work for Pandomonthly interviews. There are certainly several where I should have done more.
Then there are other times where I was too prepared because I had already interviewed the subject far too many times already.
And then there's a third category of Pandomonthys where I have never interviewed the founders before -- or even spoken to them -- and yet am ridiculously familiar with what they do, because I'm obsessed with their product and use it on a daily basis.
Ok, truth #2: That last scenario hasn't happened yet, but it will this coming Wednesday when we open our 2015 New York Pandomonthly season with Elizabeth Cutler and Julie Rice of SoulCycle.
What can we say about SoulCycle that we haven't already said in an episode of PandoLIVE? As you know if you are a regular listener, almost our entire cynical news team have become full on SoulCycle cult members. Paul and I definitely have.
Among the topics we'll discuss on stage: What role did tech and social media play in SoulCycle's ascendancy? How does it manage and maintain brand and talent in a copycat world? And-- the one I get the most-- why in the hell did they sell to Equinox when they were just getting started?
Don't worry if you've never tapped it back (or have no idea what that phrase means). If you're thinking about building anything in the atoms part of the start up world, you don't want to miss this event.
